It seems like forever since the last time since I update my blog. I've been busy gardening and (of course) stitching. Aside from that, been busy babysitting my niece (SIL's daughter) as well - specially now that she's on a summer break. Aside from that, everything was just same old same old...
I will submit entries on the upcoming state fair and will be double busy stitching all the entries on July - deadline of submission will be July 28th. This is the first time I'll gonna join the competition and so excited about it. I wish that the jurors will accept some of my entries, I'm not really aiming for a ribbon as I've seen the pretty works of very talented stitchers in the previous fairs. I just want my works to be displayed so other fabric and thread enthusiasts will see them.
Photos on top are some of my recent finishes. Those lovely little things are biscornus (8 sided pincushions) from Papillon Creations' Serendipity Sampler. The bigger ones are sewing pockets/purses with matching fob from The Sweetheart Tree's Do All Things With Love.

I'm getting addicted stitching sewing accessories lately but trying my best to get back into samplers as well. I'm so keen on starting one of Jane Greenoff's design but we'll see.

stitching and gardening are two great past-times...i used to do alot of cross-stitch but ended up with a gardening obsession!
